ALT March 21 is World Down Syndrome Day, a day established by the @unitednations to raise awareness and advocate for the rights and inclusion of people with Down syndrome worldwide. The Department is proud to work with regional centers to support people with Down syndrome all across the state to succeed at school, work, and in their communities. Melissa Bauguess is known for having a zest for life and spreading joy wherever she goes at @harborregionalcenter . Pictured here, you'll see her as a dazzling participant of the @camissamazing event! 👑 Melissa is also a hard-working employee at @handelsicecream in Long Beach, where she has worked for almost five years.
