I I had won the £162m in the Euro lottery I'd keep 12m, give 100m to Everton and 50m to SightSavers to help blind people
Forget two weeks, for nearly 2 years I've thought he should play up front.
As he was coming back from injury, @Arsenal and @SEFutbol midfielder Mikel Merino made it his mission to play in the World Cup.
He wrote this for the people who helped him along the way. theplayerstribune.com/mikel-…
Got to admire the commitment with this thread 🤣

I don’t want to make this public but Gyökeres has 62 appearances for Arsenal across all competitions, with 0 shots on target in 40 of them (about 65%).
I tried to laugh but I cry everytime.
Not enough superlatives for this fella

As important as any of our players. I hope the £140k we are allegedly paying him is far short of the mark.
🚨⚪ EXCL: Real Madrid are reportedly targeting Arsenal goalkeeper David Raya as they plan for life after Thibaut Courtois. 👀
According to reports, Raya is at the top of Madrid’s shortlist as they prepare for a potential change between the sticks.
The Spanish goalkeeper has been outstanding for Arsenal, winning three consecutive Premier League Golden Glove awards, but Madrid could offer a tempting opportunity.

Why the fuck has he said that? (Aside from the stupid beer at your seat stuff) we've been getting on so well.
The UK Prime Minister Andy Burnham has said he would be “really concerned” to lose Manchester City’s Emirati owners from the Premier League.
“They’ve been such a huge partner in the building of modern Manchester and obviously the building of Manchester City into the global force that it is.”

🚨 MAJOR BREAKING: Premier League confirm an independent Commission has found Manchester City GUILTY OF ALL CHARGES related to serious breaches of the Premier League’s financial rules over a nine-season period, and the majority of charges in relation to its failure to co-operate with the League’s investigation.
The club has the right to appeal the independent Commission’s findings and has until Friday 2 October to exercise that right.
The Premier League Board’s intention is that the full process (including any appeals and publication of relevant decisions) is concluded as soon as possible.
The independent Commission found that between Seasons 2009/10 and 2017/18:
- Manchester City arranged ‘sham’ contracts (which misrepresented the true agreement between the parties) with a number of its commercial partners, as well as relying on ‘sham’ agreements with others, to artificially inflate the club’s revenues and reduce its costs
- The club filed misstated accounts and concealed the true state of its finances from its auditors and football regulators
- Manchester City was significantly in breach of both the Premier League’s and UEFA’s spending limits
- During the Premier League’s investigation, Manchester City committed multiple breaches of its duties of co-operation and utmost good faith towards the League (three of the four alleged breaches were upheld)
