California has 33 million acres of forest land; for the 4 million of these that are highly managed, the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (@CAL_FIRE) has launched the California Forestry Sector Jobs Initiative to recruit #forestryworkers, particularly from underrepresented communities, to fill about 1,000 #forestryjobs.
