IHere's what Pres.Trump has done for Vladimir Putin since 2017:
🇺🇸➡️🇷🇺 First term
1Stood next to Putin in Helsinki and took his word over U.S. intelligence
2Lobbied to bring Russia back into the G7
3Withheld military aid from Ukraine to squeeze Zelensky (impeachment #1)
4Pulled out of Syria, handing Russia a freer hand
5Openly questioned NATO's mutual-defense pledge
6Lifted sanctions on Deripaska-linked companies, including Rusal
7Walked away from the INF nuclear treaty
8Walked away from the Open Skies treaty, leaving our European allies with less visibility
🇺🇸➡️🇷🇺 Second term
9. Called Russia's G7 expulsion a "mistake"
10. Declared Moscow "holds all the cards"
11. Opened talks with Russia with zero preconditions
12. Berated Zelensky in the Oval Office, then paused aid and intel to Ukraine
13. Halted offensive cyber operations against Russia
14. Had the U.S. vote WITH Russia against a UN resolution condemning the invasion
15. Said "Crimea will stay with Russia"
16. Rolled out the red carpet for Putin in Alaska
17. Pressed Ukraine, not Russia, to give up territory
18. Starshield
19. Diesel
20. Revoke Graham sanctions
That's not "America First."
You could never make that list of things a President has done for Zelensky, or for NATO. Ask yourself why.

One of the best "farewell" statements I've seen. Succinct and very deftly phrased.

COMMENTARY: Trump is Selling Out Ukraine to Putin
The president is turning the U.S. into an enemy of Ukraine and an ally of Russia. Will the American people let him do it?

By surrendering the sovereign, democratic nation of Ukraine to Vladimir Putin — and granting a ruthless dictator total impunity to slaughter innocent men, women, and children — Trump has fundamentally corrupted the Republican Party, twisting it into a treasonous instrument of authoritarian tyranny. It is an absolute betrayal of everything the party once stood for; any other GOP-led Congress in American history would have already drafted articles of impeachment to answer for such a catastrophic surrender of democratic values.

Humiliating and dangerous: Trump has now finally just made America an ally of the Kremlin and is aiding Putin in his war against an American friend and partner. Shameful betrayal of a US friend, and pathetic submission to a US enemy.

The WSJ editorial board states outright: “…there needs to be a bipartisan reckoning for Mr. Trump’s budding alliance with the Kremlin against Ukraine, Europe and American interests.”

I encourage people to watch the video and hear for themselves that El-Sayed says he “absolutely” denounces the Muslim Brotherhood, and goes on to explain that he supports the Constitution. What’s more newsworthy is a CBS reporter trafficking in bigoted disinformation.

Trump’s diesel deal with Russia may save Americans pennies, but will cost Ukrainian civilians their lives.

Trump is weirdly out of step with the vast majority of Americans. Most of us stand with Ukraine against the Russian aggressor.

Trump has betrayed Ukraine and now essentially operates as an agent of Putin a brutal dictator invading a free sovereign nation.

Perhaps P.J. O'Rourke put it best. When explaining, in 2016, why a self-declared 'Republican Party Reptile' was voting for Hillary Clinton over Donald Trump, O'Rourke admitted that the former first lady was 'wrong about absolutely every-thing'. But at least she was 'wrong within normal parameters'.
A decade later, conservatives are paying the price for ignoring O'Rourke's advice. Donald Trump has weakened the western alliance and undermined America's constitution; he has demeaned himself, his office, his country and, perhaps most of all, his supporters.
With Republicans facing a congressional reckoning next month, it is time for conservatives to dis-avow the President and face up to the damage that he has done.

As an American, I am having a visceral reaction to this. I feel so fucking small, so weak, so insignificant in the fight for freedom and justice for all around the world.
Trump has abandoned our Allies and relinquished the U.S.’s leadership status. We are another Trump casino.
You’re much too kind in your brief analysis Paul. This clown now has blood on his hands - and should be held to account at some point. One can only imagine what Putin has on him. #SlavaUkraïni #FDJT

How Ukraine lost all trust in the U.S. in three perilous days - a brief history:

Pretty clear that Trump/Hegseth are doing everything they can to force Ukraine to surrender to Putin by withholding all US assistance while actively helping fund the Russian war machine to kill as many civilians as possible including kids. What a dark, evil chapter in US history.
