Exciting news that's a long time coming! Kudos to the Fairmount Indigo Transit Coalition, our Regional Rail team at TM for keeping up the faith. The @MBTA & @KeolisBoston are making the first steps towards Regional Rail.

Bold Types: Jarred Johnson, the leader of the advocacy group @transitmatters, believes in a "data-driven but people-centered" approach to fixing the MBTA. Here’s what that looks like.

Exciting first step @MBTA!
The MBTA appears to be committed to a date when electric trains will finally carry passengers on its commuter rail system: 2027. Electric trains can accelerate faster and hit higher maximum speeds, and run quieter and cleaner than diesel. trib.al/wcKCAHc
