"Programming languages and frameworks are dead."
Yes, kind of.
What will matter in future is runtime behavior:
Performance characteristics, resource usage, failure modes, observability, debuggability, deployments, rollbacks.
And legibility of all that to agents.
you can rebuild the elixir/erlang runtime in ts/js, rust, c, c++, assembly, etc…
but you will absolutely have to rebuild it, the fundamental principles about how it handles and manages processes and memory are non negotiable in distributed systems.
or just use elixir…

If we're not going to write or read the code anyway, use a technology that scales vertically and horizontally with as few moving parts as possible, like Phoenix and Elixir.
Because when you have no clue what is happening, managing Phoenix+DB will be easier than App+DB+AuthService+Functions+Redis+Whatever

Elixir is the best programming language to build with AI, not because AI has trained on it the most, but because the problems that come from building with AI are mostly solved already for you when you use Elixir.
Very suspicious that OpenAI and Anthropic both dropped major announcements within hours of me publishing this: dashbit.co/blog/why-elixir-b…
They want to silence it. Don't let them. Read it twice. Share it with your colleagues and friends.
