Am I the only one seeing this? How is Devcon failing this year? Every Devcon has tons of side events, other major events, and so much happening around it. This year, it’s just the main Devcon and ETHGlobal. Nothing else. :(

This is such a poor take.
I’ve sat out of the discourse and have been watching (and tracking the campaigns, including your engagement bait of one) but I found it fascinating and sad that a ton of people from the same country seemed to gang up on each other rather than support.
1. Gender has nothing to do with it. Look at top funded all time sponsor me campaigns. Majority are men. Next point.
2. Punching down on others for reach (clout) is negative ev. I know dopamine receptors light up when you go viral and you think it’s wise to double down to continue to extend the reach but:
- gaining reach at cost of others is a display of your own character in its poorest form
- it’s a drain on your own creativity and curates a negative mindset for yourself. it tricks you in thinking the only way to gain impressions is to focus externally and on others vs creating something of value and novelty
