Y'all ain't gonna like this post. But shop Mounts/Toys/Pets/TMOG in WoW Forever is inevitable.
Probably over half million people + already paid money to Blizzard to access the beta which already gives you 2 mounts (that we didn't EARN) 4 Pets, a toy, and Transmog.
We got a shop icon which we know will start with basic services and probably in future more collection items. Remember this isn't "Classic" so the #nochanges view is out the window.
The best that can be hoped for is that all the models in the shop have both HD/SD variants and they fit into the world naturally.
Always know the anti-shop people are the vocal minority. BUT VOCAL. Anytime something gets suggested or seen in datamining that doesn't fit thew bill for WoW Forever definitely speak the fuck up.
In the beginning here we all have control until it's time for MS to kick in and tell them more $$ needs to come in.
There will always be more people who buy WoW shop items than those who oppose it. They have data and the financial numbers. We don't. Even at Blizzcon interviews when asked about shop and monetization of the game Devs said "we don't handle monetization of WoW sorry"

John J. Griffin II has been identified by law enforcement sources as the gunman who killed three children, aged 5, 8 and 11, and a teacher at Silver Rail Elementary School in Bend.
The teenager reportedly used a shotgun purchased by his mother to force his way through locked school doors.
Two others were critically injured.
Griffin was ultimately shot and killed by an armed civilian who intervened during the attack.
Investigators are still trying to establish his motive.
