EDA has completed the first stage of its Sentinel Strike Challenge, a two-stage competition designed to evaluate & field-test EU's most promising loitering munition technologies.
The five finalists will test their systems in Portugal during EU OPEX26.

The systems from the five selected companies will be now tested under controlled, realistic and contested operational conditions during the EU OPEX26 operational experimentation campaign at the Santa Margarida military training area in Portugal, scheduled for autumn this year.
The results of the experimentation will determine the overall winners of the Sentinel Strike Challenge, who are expected to be announced in 2027.

At C-Astral, we hosted the Defence Attaché of the United Kingdom accredited in Slovenia Ewan Harris and discussed cooperation with British companies as well as potential opportunities for collaboration and the sale of our SQA to government institutions in the United Kingdom.
