Not necessarily about this story, but please say to your doctors, “I want you to chart that you advised me to relax and refused to explore a medical explanation for my pain.”
I told my male doctor the pain during sex had gotten so bad I was avoiding intimacy. He told me to “relax more” and that most women just need to “get out of their heads.” I asked if he’d ever told a male patient with erectile dysfunction to just relax and stop overthinking. He looked at his chart. I got a new doctor the next week. Turns out I had a condition that required actual treatment.

Maybe I’m wrong but I think a government that demands accountability for how you spend YOUR money, but refuses to account for how it spends YOUR money, should be immediately replaced.

Remember, GoK did NOTHING even after Auditor General report exposed massive siphoning of collected revenue.
In fact, they defended Webmasters Kenya, trivialised Auditor General report & proceeded conducting business as usual with Webmasters Kenya.
The World Bank has blacklisted Webmasters Kenya, the firm behind Kenya’s eCitizen platform, from World Bank-funded projects for at least five years over fraudulent and obstructive practices.
The firm was found to have misrepresented the availability of two key experts in a bid for a World Bank-financed project and failed to meaningfully comply with documentary requests during an audit.

In May this year, President Ruto signed a law that lets roads and pipelines be built through protected forests.
What happens to forests once a law like that is on the books?

Teressia Mbandi, the mother of 44-year-old Gideon Makau, has rejected post-mortem results indicating her son died by suicide in custody at Kilungu Police Station, makueni county.
While the autopsy cited asphyxia from neck compression, the family disputes the suicide narrative and demands further investigation into the death.
Nation Media Group Editor-in-Chief Joe Ageyo:
On August 10, 2027, Kenyans will go to the polls to choose their leaders,
Tonight, exactly a year out, we are launching Nation Media Group's coverage of that election.
We choose to be a newsroom that doesn't wait for politicians to set the agenda and scramble to keep up...

I tell you these politicians deserve to be in Kamiti eating sukuma chemsha.
See the state of Meru county referral hospital.
Do we really have a country here?
We have been warned. 18 counties are at risk as El Niño approaches. So the question is simple: are we genuinely prepared? Have we cleared drainage, identified vulnerable communities and tested emergency response systems? If disaster comes, it should not take Kenya by surprise.

Check Uhuru Park and all the roundabouts with a patch of grass every weekend and see if it's not full of Kenyans hanging out. Same with any community fields and recreational spaces. Third spaces, especially green spaces, are a need for all and it's unfair to not prioritise them
Replying to @dnahinga
u think the average kenyan who lives on less than $2 a day is worried about so called "third spaces"? msee hana food na rent halafu unakata akuwe concerned na public parks??
