If you see something, say something.
I saw this incredible piano battle and had to say something about it. Truly magnificent.
For context, “Rush E” is one of the most complicated pieces of music in existence.
'Way overdue. I've noticed that the juggernaut of US berry exporters, Driscoll's, has nearly all their products now labeled as coming from Mexico. While they have some holdings there, I've had my doubts.
Another Loblaw store fined $10K for promoting imported food as Canadian. Sobeys could be next. Canada's food regulator cracks down on grocers making incorrect country-of-origin claims.

Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez on Iran:
Today more than ever, it is essential to remember that one can be against a hateful regime, as is the case with the Iranian regime, as is the whole of Spanish society, and at the same time be against an unjustified, dangerous military intervention outside of international law.
That one must be against a war initiated without the authorization of the United States Congress or the United Nations Security Council and, as I have said before, one that violates international law.
And that there is always room for a negotiated solution, instead of being dragged along by the devastation of arms as the only possible way out.
Therefore, I would like once again, as we have done since the beginning, to appeal for immediate de-escalation, for full respect for international law in all the conflicts we are unfortunately suffering, and for the urgency of resuming dialogue as soon as possible.
That is where Spain will be, and that is where I believe the whole of the European Union should be.
The PGA Tour qualifies as a nonprofit “business league”. It pays no income taxes on 100s of millions it makes in sponsorships & TV deals. The NFL & MLB gave up tax-exempt status years ago. Targeting this $2.8T tax shelter could solve a big US problem wapo.st/4u8HeJa
It's a start. A sign of an independent foreign policy.

“As Pierre Poilievre’s favourability nears rock bottom, we remind you that he voted against the Canadian Dental Care Plan, $10/day child care, the National School Food Program and the Canada Child Benefit — all while whining about the affordability crisis.”
“The Conservatives aren’t as much a political party as they are a ChatGPT-based slogan-generating algorithm speaking through the mouth of eveyone’s least favourite muppet, Pierre Poilievre — who has accomplished nothing during his 20+ years in Parliament.” cultmtl.com/2026/01/observat…

The news media hyping the possibility that the opposition parties would dare trigger an election is hilarious.
I know the late Anthony Jackson was immortalized for his bass intro to The O'Jays' "For the Love of Money". But his work decades later with drummer Simon Phillips in the @hiromiuehara trio is astonishing. youtu.be/wB_OXUyq2ZE?si=MgbL…

Canada must stand with Denmark, Ukraine, and Greenland. Look at the map. We’ve already heard the expression of “territorial interest”. Territorial sovereignty has to mean something.
