Colossians 3:17 "Do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him".
🌟Delighted to work with Comhairle nan Eilean Siar (Western Isles Council), who are participating in our Probationer Pack project this year.
➡️ Our CVE Scotland Trustee (and Primary Head Teacher), Kirsteen Maclean, distributed the packs at a recent CLPL event for the group.
❓If you are interested in your local authority taking part in this project, please email our Outreach Administrator, Lynn MacMillan, on [email protected]
🍁Across Scotland, most schools are now either on or about to start their October break. We pray for our staff after a long half-term. Time to enjoy activities with family and friends and a chance to relax and be refreshed in body and spirit.
🍎 Happy World Teachers’ Day, Scotland!
We celebrate the incredible Christian teachers across our nation who serve with faith, wisdom and love. Thank you for shaping young lives and pointing them to truth. You are seen, valued and prayed for. #ChristianTeachers #Scotland
Thank you to everyone who came along to our Stornoway Teacher and School Staff Meet-up last night. Sharing experiences and distributing resources.
➡️ Several local authorities have in-service today and the rest by the end of next week.
🙏 Please pray for our teaching and school staff. May they feel refreshed and ready to be salt and light in their education establishment. Please also pray for all new probationer teachers.
➡️ Forgive us, it may still be the middle of the summer holidays, but why not get ahead of the game and reserve your FREE space at our Greater Glasgow Teachers and School Staff meet-up?

Last week at Dare 2 Hope Summer Nights we had Sheryl Maatitawaer from Abba House Children's Home in Indonesia come to share about her work. Sheryl is born and raised in Inverclyde and took the time to meet with us on a visit home. Here's our final interview question of the night:
🌟Making up more Probationer Blessing packs for Comhairle nan Eilean Siar and East Lothian Council areas. 🌟
If you would like to explore the same for your Scottish council area, contact Lynn, our Outreach Administrator, at [email protected].
🌟Thank you to Haddington Community Church for hosting CVE Scotland's first teacher end-of-term meet-up breakfast on Saturday. A time to eat, chat, be encouraged and pray for our schools in East Lothian and for the students who attend.
We would love to organise similar events, so if your church is interested in hosting one, please drop us an email at [email protected].
We will be taking part in Unite for Education's Inverclyde Education Information Evening on Tuesday, 26 May, and giving a short presentation on the topic of 'How Christians can make an impact in and for schools and beyond'.
