Il nostro Ministro sogghigna beffardo quando menziona l’opinione pubblica. E precisa esattamente ciò che intende fare: continuare a fornire aiuti militari e finanziari all’Ucraina, CONTRO la volontà della maggioranza degli Italiani e CONTRO gli interessi del proprio Paese, perché a suo insindacabile giudizio “si deve fare”. Qualcuno gentilmente mi spiega come ciò possa definirsi “agire in nome del Popolo italiano”, e non il suo contrario?

Why so many carnivores notice better joints
Cartilage ages mainly through glycation. Collagen in joint cartilage has a half-life measured in decades (estimates up to ~100 years in some tissues). Once formed, the cross-links from advanced glycation end-products (AGEs) stick around. The result is stiffer, less resilient cartilage that doesn’t glide or absorb load the way it used to. Most of those AGEs form endogenously from circulating glucose and reactive dicarbonyls, not from the meat on your plate.
Beef supplies a direct countermeasure: carnosine. This dipeptide is concentrated in muscle and acts as a sacrificial scavenger. It reacts with methylglyoxal and other carbonyls that would otherwise bind lysine and arginine residues on collagen, reducing new AGE cross-links and protein carbonylation. Human data show carnosine supplementation lowers circulating AGE markers and improves glucose handling in people with diabetes.
Eating the actual muscle delivers the compound in its natural matrix along with the protein and fat that support stable blood sugar.
On a carnivore diet two things happen at once. Endogenous glycation pressure drops because glucose stays lower and more stable, and you continuously supply carnosine that mops up the reactive intermediates that do form.
That combination plausibly slows the progressive stiffening of cartilage that most people accept as normal aging. It is not magic or a cure for advanced structural damage, but it is a coherent explanation for the repeated reports of less pain, better mobility, and fewer “old joints” once people stop eating the foods that keep glucose elevated all day.

The British sausage is called a banger because in the First World War it was so full of water that it exploded in the pan, and the one that never did was the one from Cumberland.
Before the war a butcher's sausage was pork, fat, salt, pepper and a little rusk to hold it, and it fried. During the war, with meat rationed, the makers filled the skins with water, scraps and whatever cereal they could get, and the water turned to steam in the hot fat and burst the casing. Soldiers named it, and the name stuck to the whole family for a hundred years.
The Cumberland sausage stood apart. Up in the Lake District it was made by the yard, coiled flat into a wheel rather than twisted into links, from coarsely chopped pork rather than minced slurry, heavily peppered, with no colouring and almost no filler. A proper one is more than 90% meat. The spice came in through Whitehaven, which was trading with the Indies, and the pork came from the pigs every Cumbrian farmhouse kept. You bought it by length, not by number.
If you grew up in the north it was the Sunday breakfast, a whole coil in the pan, cut into quarters at the table, with the fat spitting round it. Fried in lard, because that is what was in the pan.
In 2011 the name was protected by law. It has to be made in Cumbria, in the coil, with at least 80% meat, and the cheap imitations with a quarter of the pig and three quarters of the water had to drop the name.
The sausage in a supermarket pack is what the war taught the trade: fill the skin with water and sell the skin. The one in the coil is what a sausage was before anyone had to.
They told you sausages were bad for you. They meant the water.

Ieri notte Zelensky ha utilizzato lo spazio aereo di tre paesi NATO per attacchi con droni.
Questo significa che per agevolare l’Ucraina, la NATO e quei specifici Paesi membri dell’alleanza, sono stati più che compiacenti: hanno concretamente reso possibile un attacco ucraino in profondità in territorio russo.
L'Ucraina ha fatto esplodere il Nordstream1, lasciando l’Europa a secco di gas e scatenando una crisi energetica devastante; ora le lasciamo utilizzare lo spazio aereo dei paesi NATO per attacchi con droni alla più grande potenza nucleare mondiale, che confina con l’UE.
Oggi essere membri della NATO e dell’UE comporta solo rischi esistenziali e danni enormi. Dovremmo abbandonare entrambe le organizzazioni e diventare paese neutrale, come la Svizzera.

A cow cannot add a single atom of carbon to the sky, and the people who say she can have never followed one atom round.
Grass is made out of air. The plant pulls carbon dioxide down and builds a leaf from it.
The cow eats the leaf. The carbon is now in the cow.
Some of it comes back out of her as methane. One carbon atom, four hydrogens, belched.
Methane lasts about 12 years up there. Then it breaks back down into carbon dioxide.
The grass pulls it down again. The cow eats the grass again. The same atom, round the same loop, since the first grazing animal walked onto the first grassland 50 million years ago.
Nothing is added. The cow is a carbon atom's way of getting from one blade of grass to the next.
A car works differently. The petrol was carbon that spent 300 million years locked under rock. Burn it and that carbon is in the sky, new, for a thousand years, and no cow on earth can bring it back down.
A herd that stays the same size adds no warming at all. The methane going up equals the methane breaking down. Her grandmother's belch is already in this year's hay.
The whole case against the cow rests on counting a loop as a leak.
It is an error you can only make with the answer already decided.

Amici del Centro-Nord, come specificato nel lungo post di ieri, sarà un pomeriggio-sera decisamente movimentato tra rovesci di pioggia e forti temporali che localmente saranno accompagnati da forti raffiche di vento.

A poco più di 100 metri dal traguardo di una corsa ciclistica muore mio figlio Giovanni Iannelli, di soli 22 anni.
Nella società organizzatrice figurano come vicepresidenti Pierino Cereda, sindaco di Guazzora (AL), e Piero Angelo Cisi, vicesindaco di Alzano Scrivia (AL), che ai giornali dichiara 180 metri di transenne, mentre in realtà sono meno di 50.
Consigliere della società è Adolfo Guagnini, sindaco di Alzano Scrivia (AL), che sovrintende all’installazione delle transenne, meno della metà del minimo previsto dai regolamenti.
Sono coinvolti anche il sindaco di Molino dei Torti, il presidente della Provincia di Alessandria e altre autorità. La corsa parte, transita e arriva proprio davanti al municipio, sotto il balcone del sindaco. Dopo la morte di Giovanni, non viene più disputata.
Il padrino della manifestazione è il Professor Renato Balduzzi, cittadino onorario di Molino dei Torti, già ministro della Salute, componente del CSM, professore universitario e collega e collaboratore di Marta Cartabia.
Quel giorno è presente anche il NAS dei Carabinieri, con il comandante Colonnello Biagio Fabrizio Carillo.
Eppure i Carabinieri di Castelnuovo Scrivia non effettuano rilievi stradali, non scattano fotografie, non ascoltano le decine di testimoni presenti né gli altri corridori coinvolti nella caduta.
Ascoltano soltanto la testimone falsa Giulia Fassina, componente del collegio di giuria.
Il presidente del collegio di giuria, Luca Botta, con Giovanni morto sull’asfalto, comunica: “nulla da segnalare”.
Il giudice sportivo del Piemonte omologa la gara senza adottare provvedimenti.
Il presidente della società organizzatrice, Ennio Ferrari, dichiara di non essersi mai preoccupato della sicurezza dell’ultimo chilometro.
Il programma di gara viene approvato senza gli obbligatori documenti sulla sicurezza, che successivamente compaiono tramite l’avvocato Gaia Campus di Roma, componente della Commissione Nazionale Elettorale della Federciclismo.
La Procura Federale della Federciclismo, guidata dall’avvocato Nicola Capozzoli, che collabora con la Procura di Alessandria, insabbia la vicenda.
Roberto Sgalla, presidente della Commissione Nazionale Direttori di Corsa e Sicurezza della Federciclismo, funzionario della Polizia di Stato, direttore della Scuola di Polizia, prefetto a.r. e direttore del Centro Studi Americani, è consulente della Procura Federale e successivamente del PM di Alessandria Andrea Trucano.
Roberto Sgalla fa pressioni e tenta di condizionare il giudizio della Corte Sportiva di Appello e, durante l’incarico, commette reati per i quali non viene perseguito.
All’esito di quella perizia piena di falsità, viene archiviato il procedimento penale relativo alla morte di Giovanni.
La Procura della Repubblica di Alessandria, capeggiata da Enrico Cieri, archivia così la morte di un ragazzo innocente di 22 anni, senza celebrare un processo nel quale accertare pienamente la verità e assicurare giustizia.
Giovanni non può più parlare.
