#NewProfilePic how can I not stan this woman? She’d make a great first woman mayor of NYC one day. In the meantime, @NYCMayor needs to abolish the SRG and fire Jessica Tisch ASAP.

Whether this was a genuine experiment or an attempt to influence election narratives for opportunists to make money on betting markets doesn’t really matter; their supposed “purpose” and assessment is 100% correct. This should be a wake up call for aggregators and commentators.
The polling industry needs major reform. Our statement below:

Wedgewood Polls released this statement after FiftyPlusOne contacted them regarding evidence of fabricated poll data. They had shared fraudulent raw data the prior day and raised crowdfunding for polls presented as legitimate. blog.fiftyplusone.news/p/fiftyplusone… x.com/gelliottmorris…

It took a fake pollster, some fake journalists (Jake Tapper, Adam Wren, Jessica Piper), a fake women’s advocacy organization (Reckoning Action), and a fake SA allegation to take down @grahamformaine
Last week, one of our head pollsters was informed by a source that there might be scandals dropping soon against Democratic Candidate Graham Platner. We went into the field on Saturday, however now that it seems imminent, we decided would be best to release the results today.

Never forget July 6 😔
Wedgewood polling fraud: This is also notably the same firm that rushed its "results" showing Graham Platner doing worse than both Troy Jackson and Janet Mills vs. Susan Collins—crucially the same morning the coordinated Politico article and Tapper's Racicot interview dropped.

People acting like the Wedgewood poll on the 2026 MI Senate Dem primary was fully responsible for killing McMorrow’s momentum (like @MalloryMcMorrow, @Lis_Smith, & @neeratanden) had nothing to say about this BS poll from the 2024 MI Senate Dem primary cause they were Team Slotkin

The architect behind this wants you think that one bogus poll killed her client’s campaign.
Wedgewood was one of the "pollsters" that @AbdulElSayed leaned on to push back on criticisms that he was less electable in a general election-->

Republicans have some interesting takes on incest based on two of their new ads today. If it’s two second cousins getting married consensually in rural Maine, call him a creep. If it’s a dad raping his preteen daughter, make an ad of the enabling mom attacking her daughter.
🔥 New SLF ad running on Maine radio is a banger: "Troy Jackson is weird. If he'll [bleep] his own family, he'll [bleep] yours, too..."

Let’s simplify this as much as possible: Joe Manchin is campaigning with Susan Collins because he recognizes that a crackdown in her obvious corruption and involvement in bribery schemes means that if she loses she could land in court and then prison like Bob Menendez. If someone like Collins, who didn’t engage in corruption as sloppily as Menendez, is held accountable, people like Manchin are next. We’re close to judgment day in this country for all of the theft and corruption these people have engaged in, on both sides of the aisle, for decades.
Manchin: If the person is qualified, Susan Collins going to vote for them…. CNN: So your message to voters who are considering her record is to look past some of her votes to confirm RKF JR, Pam Bondi… Manchin: I don't know about Pam Bondi or about Robert Kennedy. I would not have voted for them

I wish they had polled Kamala Harris’ approval rating in Michigan before Abdul El Sayed campaigned with her…
Replying to @The_Real_ASR
TAKEAWAYS 1) Getting endorsed by someone with a 58% negative rating is generally NOT A GOOD THING. This is Politics 101. 2) Bronson and Taylor are pretty much toast. They've both taken a mortal hit - we just wouldn't have expected it'd be Trump who had done it. 🧵13/14

Protective presence is good but when that fails, Palestinians need to be able to defend themselves. Very important that @bradlander make this point explicitly, and then take steps to divest from the state that’s backing the terrorists.
I'm in the West Bank this week as part of the “Protect the Harvest” coalition along with @israelispeaceny, @ucpinpalestine & Protect the Harvest, which is bringing people together from around the world to help Palestinian farmers harvest olives in the face of state-sanctioned settler terrorism. Our goals for the trip are to help protect the olive harvest — and to shed a light on the reality of the occupation. To ensure that international solidarity goes beyond the harvest, to become a sustained commitment to protecting Palestinian communities from settler violence, forced displacement, and the ongoing threats to their right to remain on their land. And, speedily and in our day, to secure human rights, safety, equality & freedom for both Palestinians and Israelis. Thankfully, our corner of today's harvest was peaceful and successful. But violence unfortunately is never far away. We’ll keep you posted on our efforts this week, especially the stories we hear from Palestinians on the ground. Protect the Harvest.

I’m on the ballot against Ritchie Torres this November. I’ve spent the past year on the campaign trail across the Bronx, and I haven’t seen him once. In June, Ritchie Torres won the Democratic primary with just 24,600 votes out of more than 460,000 eligible voters in NY-15. That means nearly 95% of us didn’t vote for him. Apparently, that’s enough for him to act like the general election is already over. You’d expect the person who claims to represent us to be registering voters, holding town halls, and making sure every neighbor knows there’s an election coming. Instead, Torres has been silent about the upcoming election. There’s a reason so many of us in the Bronx have tuned out politics, and it’s not because we don’t care. Ritchie Torres and the Democratic Party have spent years making sure we stay disengaged and disenfranchised. An engaged Bronx is the last thing they want, because the moment we start paying attention, we start asking whether there’s a better option than decades of Democratic Party neglect and apathy toward our neighborhoods. It shows. New York’s 15th Congressional District has some of the lowest voter turnout in the country. The general election is two weeks away, and our whole team, from staff to volunteers, is working hard to make sure every one of our Bronx neighbors knows about it. Both billionaire-backed parties are now more unpopular than ever. Fifty-seven percent of Americans view the Democratic Party unfavorably, and 63% view the Republican Party unfavorably. Clearly, people want a party that actually represents the working class, not billionaires. In the past few weeks alone, we’ve hit thousands of doors across the district, and we’re just getting started. This week, we’re running more than 20 canvassing shifts, out on the streets from 7 AM to 8 PM, speaking with our neighbors. From Mott Haven to Van Cortlandt Park, we’re building an unstoppable socialist movement that reaches every corner of NY-15. We’ve learned a lot from doing what the Democratic Party refuses to do: building a movement for free healthcare, clean air, more and better public housing, and fully funded schools. Building a future for the Bronx, not for the billionaires who fund and control our entire political establishment. That work doesn’t end on November 3. This campaign has always been an invitation to join the struggle for a socialist future. We’ve learned that the natural distrust most Bronx residents have for Democratic Party politicians has been mistaken for conservatism and indifference. In reality, it points to a much deeper potential: a suppressed yearning for radical, system-wide change. The Bronx is ready for a whole new system: a system where working people control the economy and the government, not the billionaires. A system that actually meets the needs of the people and the planet. The Bronx is ready for socialism.

#MaineSenate Troy Jackson on Manchin campaigning with Susan Collins this week "Joe Manchin and Susan Collins are fake “moderates” who hide behind that label to sell out working people to big corporations and special interests." "Regardless of party, they fight for the same people: the wealthy and the powerful."

This is what American politics would look like in Israel’s perfect world lmao Both candidates dancing awkwardly together in the street while agreeing to send ‘em an unconditional $3 billion a year with zero oversight
Great time at the Suffern Street Fair — even found opportunity for a little bipartisan dance off with @CaitforNewYork! Even during the heat of a campaign, it’s good to have a little fun.

Imagine how much vitriol a leftist strategist would get if they argued: “I’d rather Republicans keep the house than Dems winning it back because then they’re hostage to AIPAC and the blood from Israel’s war crimes would be on Democrats’ hands once again.”
🤔 @JamesCarville: “I’d rather Republicans keep the house by 5 than Dems win by 5… Because then they’re hostage to DSA, and Hakeem can’t move.” 😬@BillKristol: “Good point.” So afraid of DSA folks who want M4ALL, etc. they’d rather Republicans hold power. Unreal. True colors.

Good. NY-13 and CO-01 Dem primary voters didn’t replace their AIPAC Reps with these queens just for them to vote to make AIPAC Shakur the next Speaker of the House.
Neither Darializa Avila Chevalier nor Melat Kiros would commit to backing Hakeem Jeffries as speaker. “'What am I actually voting for' is gonna be the most important question for ... my district,” Kiros told @DashaBurns. Listen to #TheConversation: politi.co/4B9muEp

Is this the first mention of Warren 2028 ever?
Well Warren needs to run for president in 2028. Also Warren knew if a she or Bernie won in 2020 it would have killed the progressive movement because Congress was set up to destroy any real policy change. 2028 is a much better environment for a progressive. Warren 2028!

Today, I received a threatening letter at my Ann Arbor dorm that contained unidentified white powder. The letter, which claimed to be from the office of Hillary Scholten, made a specific threat. Scholten has not yet addressed the attacks, either to take or deny responsibility.
Today, I received a threatening letter at my Grand Rapids, Michigan office that contained unidentified white powder. The letter, which claimed to be from the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA), made a direct and specific reference to an impending “civil war” beginning after the election. The letter sent to my office is similar to those received at other congressional offices across the country. The DSA has not yet addressed the attacks, either to condemn them or to take or deny responsibility. The Grand Rapids Police Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) responded immediately. Threats and extremism are not signs of strength—they are signs of a weak mind and weak character. Political intimidation has no place in our democracy, and leaders must condemn it, not excuse it. I’ll keep standing up to bullies on the right and the left.
