Really sad to read. Met him just a couple of times but got on really well with him.

We are shocked to hear of the passing of Courtney Meppen-Walter 💙 Courtney played for the club between 2022 and 2024 making 28 appearances and winning the 2022/23 Manager's Player of the Season award. Our thoughts are with Courtney's family and friends at this sad time.

A great performance from the entire squad. Bury have so much quality, Lancaster defended like trojans and worked hard to hold the ball up front. Jim Craig and Nathan Caine were awesome in midfield. A very hard earned three points for a superb team effort 👏
