Terrific piece on a project I'm lucky enough to work on with @Carremojo and others. Big thanks to @SeaGrant for funding and @WHOISeaGrant and Simonne Dodge for the lovely write-up!
🦞 Scientists sampled ocean convergences – where warm and cold waters meet – for lobster postlarvae. Convergences may be an important habitat for them before they settle on the seafloor to develop. More 👉 ow.ly/KcLP50P9Wg0 @SeaGrant @WHOI #SeaGrantLobster #sciencetwitter

Fledgling swallows waiting for a meal just outside my window @WHOI. If you need something from me, I'm afraid that I am otherwise committed until further notice.

Further notice. Pretty good takeoffs, too - solid B range.

A greenhouse farmer near Zoetermeer chalked the glass of his greenhouses, only to find these mysterious markings the next morning. Mesmerising, as always, the artwork that land #snails create with their radular teeth.

Replying to @dan_eling
@dan_eling got me a birdfeeder with built-in surveillance. Enjoying this lovely gray catbird who is carefully picking out only the mealworms like they're the marshmallows in Lucky Charms.

There is a black bear wandering around my town and the local Facebook page is lighting up with photos. I am really wishing I'd been able to work from home today, this is 100% going to be the biggest excitement in town for at least the year.

Update: the bear swam from our side of town to the other, so even though I'm WFH tomorrow I may have missed my window.
