Word of the day: GLUGGAVEÐUR (Icelandic) - Weather that looks lovely from inside your house, but is horrible to be outside in. Literally 'window-weather'.

Some of us don't always get around to being able to order bare #Allium bulbs in autumn, so we pot up a few to help out. From humble drumsticks to towering Mont Blanc, have a look at our #AVlist if you find yourself with a gap in your border. #summerbulbs ow.ly/BloX30ilHeV
#Cyclamen coum Album. In the language of flowers, giving someone a cyclamen expresses love and sincere tenderness, though Pliny the Elder described how cyclamen tubers and roots were once used to poison fish. #HappyValentinesDay #Valentinesfacts #Valentinesday #languageofflowers
More scented plants on the nursery. Was a bit late posting this, so a lot have finished flowering, but just look at this lovely line-up: #Hamamelis 'Aphrodite', pallia and 'Diane'. #helloladies #winterfloweringshrubs #winterinterest #wintercolour #witchhazel #gardenideas #AVlist
