Very honoured to receive the Otto Schmitt Award at the IUPESM World Congress 2025, presented triennially by IFMBE, the world’s largest federation of biomedical engrg societies, which recognises an exceptional individual for innovation, leadership & seminal contributions in BME.

Honored to be finally admitted as a Fellow of the Royal Society. A unique part of the ceremony is signing the 362-year-old Charter Book, alongside renowned scientists like Newton, Darwin, and Churchill. This is thanks to my incredible team of students, postdocs and collaborators.

It was a great honor to deliver the plenary lecture at the IEEE EMBC 2023 in Sydney. Thank you Nigel Lovell and the organizers for the invitation and my dear friend Metin Akay for chairing my talk. It was a great opportunity to share my translational experience in wearable tech.
