This is the most ridiculous call I’ve ever seen….you have the rules analyst and Jesse Palmer on the broadcast completely flabbergasted
Mizzou back on top after a 75-yard Simmons TD to Montgomery. Maintained his balance on the sideline and took it to the house.
Blake Craig misses again. Tigers can't take advantage of Texas turnover deep in their own territory.
Mizzou kicking game suboptimal on the last two possessions. Texas a golden opportunity following a blocked punt.
Blake Craig's up and down career continues. Impressive Mizzou drive that goes 77 yards ends in...no points.
Raleek Brown giving the Longhorns offense some juice in teh running game. Elusive and hard to bring down.
#Mizzou offense, aided by two major Texas penalties, takes it down the field on its first possession. Caps it off with an Austin Simmons QB keeper for a TD.
Matt Rhule is 2-11 in November at Nebraska. They play Rutgers coming up so they're going to make a bowl but likely finish 6-6. It's been kind of a "if not now, when?" season for the last two years. What now?
Austin Simmons returning could be a game-changer for Mizzou football next season. Could still head to the Draft if his grade is high enough but the Tigers are making power moves.

Texas injuries mounting. Could we see #Mizzou pull it off against the Longhorns Saturday? It's a 50/50 coin flip for me.
NEW: #Texas RB Hollywood Smothers, who started 5 games for the #Longhorns, and TE Nick Townsend, who started 3 games, will both miss the rest of the season due to injuries, sources tell Horns247.
Smothers and Townsend join Texas star LT Trevor Goosby with season-ending injuries.

Mizzou/Illinois in football never really moved the needle for me ( I attended many "Arch Rivalry" games at the Dome) and am not interested in entertaining Kansas presently. Nebraska would be awesome, though.
#Illini Bret Bielema on future scheduling:
"We moved off Missouri almost two months ago.... had subbed in Eastern Illinois because the world of college football is a little bit different back then."
Once CFP was expanding to 24 teams, and a 10th power conference game was required, Illinois choose Notre Dame over a couple other options.
The 2027 Eastern Illinois game was replaced by ND home and home series, said Bielema
And Bielema thinks the 24-team CFP will strengthen non-conference slates.
"I think this is a great example of what this 24-team playoff format can do.... They would have never agreed to it. I'm sure we probably wouldn't agree to it unless this happened."
Illinois' non-con in 2027 will be Notre Dame, Florida International and Delaware

Who knows if #Mizzou can meet this season's lofty expectations or not but, I can promise you, this season is going to be a RIDE.
