The rarest Stephen Curry card may be lost forever 😭 The legendary "lost card" is the 2009-10 Topps Chrome Stephen Curry 1-of-1 SuperFractor Rookie Card. It is widely considered the ultimate "white whale" and the most famous missing card in modern sports hobby history. The card has never been seen publicly, graded, or put up for auction in the 17 years since its release. Because Curry went on to become the greatest shooter of all time and a global icon, the card's estimated value has skyrocketed into the eight-figure range ($10+ million) if it is ever found. When Topps released the 2009-10 flagship basketball set, sports card collecting wasn't the massive, social-media-driven industry it is today. Card "breaking" streams didn't exist, so someone could pull a 1-of-1 card without the entire internet finding out or without them knowing what they pulled. It could be in a sealed box; it could have been thrown away, or forgotten about in a shoebox. Wherever it is, we hope it's in pristine condition for it to break auction records as an ungraded card.
