Water doesn't stop at city lines. If there's a problem in one part of our watershed, it can affect us all. When it rains, sewage can flow into the Chattahoochee in Columbus, GA. Demand stronger protections for this portion of the river by emailing EPD at bit.ly/2HCaMfT.
Doing our first coliform tests (total coliform and e. Coli) on our IDEXX setup. Using surface water on campus as a trial. Looking forward to collecting stream samples next week. @ClaytonState @CSUChemPhysDept

Great morning at the headwaters of the Flint and South Rivers for our first field tests with @StumptownGA and #findingtheflint.
We're excited to announce the establishment of a laboratory within the Chemistry department at CSU that's centered around the analysis of water quality. We'll keep you posted on the progress over the next few months as we get instruments and methods set up.

If you haven’t cast your ballot, READ THIS: As is, taxes collected for environmental cleanup can disappear in GA’s general fund. We need your help to change that. Voting YES on 1 means funds from a fee will go towards the issue the fee was meant to address.
