1/3 Yesterday’s ICE announcement requiring international students to take at least one in-person class to maintain their visa status is dangerous, cruel, and could impact countless intl students at USC and across the US.
International students are not political pawns and they don't deserve to be dehumanized, nor should they be forced to choose between taking on-campus courses while putting their lives at risk or traveling back home. 2/3
We stand with the over 10k intl students at USC and the international student community in the US. We commend @USC and @PresidentFolt for joining an amicus brief supporting the MIT and Harvard lawsuit in opposition to this policy. 3/3
