Our November cover depicts the ability of squindoles reported by @rob_elmes @MUMycology @philgale @CSHChem to efficiently transport chloride ions through lipid membranes and thereby disrupt ion homeostasis and result in potent anti-microbial activity. hubs.li/Q028NY320

A recent paper from our team at @KeeleUniversity has been featured in the back cover of @PCCP. It investigates the interaction between pentacene molecules and 2D TMDs and how this interaction affects the band alignment in the heterostructure doi.org/10.1039/D3CP01895D

The thing is that if we distribute funds more equally, we also see a more equal distribution of success. The two are linked. And more equal success means more diverse research, which is a great thing.
Funds are limited. Mainly for this reason, resources should be given to those with the highest chances to succeed, either because historically successful, or bc immensely promising as young researchers. Distribute limited resources equally is just a waste. Cruel, and true. No?

...may be afforded by linking together centers with either a tetrahedral or an octahedral array of valencies by rod-like connecting units." I'm no chemist, but that seems like a great description of MOFs to me. 2/2
