We have a fabulous selection of new books every month! This week we have some thrillers to suit every every taste - Hitchcock-style, darkly intense, suspenseful, legal, historical or explosive. We also have a heart-warming and wise tale - Clare Blading’s first adult fiction.
Are you, or 🐾 members of your household obsessively watching Crufts this weekend? Our pawsome librarians have been busy sourcing a great selection of dog related reading for you all!
Are you ready for the RSPB’s Big Birdwatch this weekend (24th-26th January 2025)? We have lots of bird books for adults and children if you need to know the difference between a robin and a red kite or you would just like to learn more about birds.
Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas. We hope that you find time over the holidays to curl up with a good book!
Iceland have a charming tradition called Jólabókaflóð or “The Christmas book flood”. Books are gifted on Christmas Eve, then they spend the night in bed reading & drinking hot chocolate. Sounds perfect!
We are open from 10am -1pm today for any last minute book related needs!
