JMU is undefeated no longer. The Dukes (7-1) suffer their first loss of the season as App State (5-2) wins 34-31 in overtime. The Mountaineers just keep finding ways to spoil things for JMU since it made the FBS jump.

Air Force earns an impressive 41-31 win over UNLV. Both teams each now have 1 Mountain West loss. The Falcons ran for 433 yards as a team. Evan Medders has been great with Liam Szarka out. Medders ran for 152 yards and 3 touchdowns.

Toledo (5-2) picked up a 34-14 win over Eastern Michigan, which was previously unbeaten in MAC play. Toledo outgained EMU 480-276 as Rockets QB John Alan Richter threw for 288 yards and 1 TD

Western Michigan (5-2, 3-0) stays on top of the MAC standings with a 21-14 win over Central Michigan. Jalen Buckley paced WMU with 150 yards and 2 touchdowns on the ground.

For four straight games I’ve thought, alright NOW the Dukes will have a real test. Apparently not. JMU is 7-0 and remains the only unbeaten G6 team with a 49-22 win over Georgia State. George Pettaway ran for 119 yards and 1 TD in the win.
