Post Lyon
We’ve pulled together the issues that have been reported directly to us and also on X and BBS. We’ll let you know what happens but please bear with us as we will be raising via FSE because we hope this will carry more weight.
From what’s been said so far, the issues are generally Lyon/ French police issues not our own club/staff.
You can let us know if you feel there is something that isn’t already readily out there that we should include either here or at [email protected] over next 24 hours and we can amend report before we send it off.
We’ll also send a copy of our info to the club but imagine they are already well aware of things with staff having been on the ground over there and will likely look at things via their own routes.
Just to say we spoke to the club re supporter photos with Conference trophy and we’re pleased to say that the club will be putting out dates shortly so people can book. It will be on the same basis as the Fa Cup photo opportunity ie free with an optional Palace for Life donation, a photographer is being provided.

OK folks let’s relax now and get the job done. COYP!
Love the new Timber song btw

We know that there are issues with the coaches and how they are organised plus a tram accident is also now impacting travel to the ground.
I’m sure there’s nothing the French police would like more than for Palace fans to kick off so they can respond. Please stay calm regardless of the problems so that everyone gets to the ground safely, even if that may be later than we would all have wanted.

We spoke to the club yesterday and they let us know that if you’re going to the Lyon match tonight and if you are staying in a hotel near to the ground, the club have managed to get agreement that post match you will not have to get on the coaches all the way back to the Eurexpo meeting point.
The trade off is that you will be kept back an extra 15 minutes or so in addition to the approximately 1 hour everyone using coaches are held back in the ground.
All supporters will still need to go to Eurexpo meeting point to get on the coaches to the ground pre-match (except Cat 1 and disabled supporters).

It’s a funny old game as the saying goes. Very happy with the win, after a shaky start it was well deserved in the end; although we clearly still have some work to do on the defence.
Thought Benitez was player of the match, he was magnificent today we’re so lucky to have both him and Deano playing for us.
Just one question did £50m Delap have a problem affecting his balance today coz he really struggled to stay on his feet the whole time he was on the pitch.

After passing all of your comments back to the club after the Man City game we are pleased to see the reinstatement of the Fan Zone. We hope this will help reduce overcrowding in some other areas.
We will continue to raise the challenges post Stanley Stephenson and hope that additional solutions can be found.
So well deserved, would love to see him extend and stay at Palace for the rest of his career.

Some of our committee met with our police Designated Football Officer to find out info regarding the upcoming Lyon and Besiktas matches. You can find the notes here

Fantastic achievement by all involved
Just wondering if 114 isn’t enough, how many counts would they have to be found guilty of for Andy Burnham not to be concerned about losing them as owners.
Really hope there is no intention or attempt to influence the outcome here as that would be grossly unfair to all the other clubs who haven’t cheated.

Andy Burnham has said he would be “really concerned” to lose Manchester City’s owners as a result of the club being found guilty of more than 100 breaches of Premier League rules | ✍️

The eagle eyed amongst you may have noticed that digital STs are showing the wrong date time for the Forest match. The club have told us this will update nearer the time, so worth keeping an eye on it and refreshing before you leave for the match.
Thank you to the person who raised this with us.

On the subject of the centenary wall/memorial bricks….
Replying to @6leany
The club has asked us to ask anyone who has a brick and has not been in touch with the club to email customer services. They are keen to ensure they know who to contact when a final decision re relocation vs returning bricks is made.
We had our meeting with the club last week. We had a wide ranging discussion covering many of the issues that you have brought to us, inc the issues at Man City, facilities post loss of Stanley Stephenson, handrails in UH, rail seating, conference trophy photos, memorial bricks and lots more. We have submitted our notes to the club today for review and will publish these as soon as we can.
Hopefully that performance today puts an end to all this negative speculation and nonsense from the media about Sage getting sacked. Despite what the external noise suggests, so far we’ve played 7 - Lost 3, Won 3, Drawn 1.
We can only play what’s in front of us in terms of these games, however, they do include wins against Polish league champions and a really good Championship side as well as almost getting something from a match we played virtually entirely with only 10 players and a draw today against a good Leeds side (that everyone seemed to predict would beat us).
On the subject of today, thought Ty was unlucky his goal was disallowed and on another day Kamada would have had a penalty. Lots to be happy about ❤️💙

Patterns of attacking play look great but we still look far to open when defending. Wing backs constantly getting dragged out of position with no cover from our midfield.
