One of the most toothless performances from a Celtic midfield in recent memory. - Cal Mac and Baur doing the same job (badly) - Nygren can’t cover ground (play him as a second striker - or not at all) Then, we have wingers that stay wide and fullbacks that can’t tuck in. The composition of this squad (and what they’re being asked to do) is bizarre 🤷‍♂️

I get the impression Celtic’s *entire* gameplan hinged on Hogh being able to hold it up… That wasn’t just a bad performance, it was a clueless one. Which is far, far worse.

Absolutely unreal what Callum McGregor does on the park. He sees things others don’t. If we need more control he’ll drop and just take the ball, if we need to go for it he’ll take 2/3 players out with a pass. He is incredible.

*That* version of Arne Engels is worth more to Celtic than £25m. Our physicality falls off a cliff without him (esp with Nygren at 10). Could well be his coming-of-age season (not to mention, I don’t back the club to find an adequate replacement). Tell West Ham to take a hike 👋
