It’d be pint slinging hell for the first season but once the novelty wears off it’d be great. Watching Palace play competitive football whilst having a beer last season felt like a true privilege. I doubt it’ll ever happen. There’ll be one idiot in every crowd.

The real reason is because our progress has been slow and less fashionable. The fact we’ve achieved what we have without a proper data model for the majority of those years is remarkable. Sure, those clubs are model clubs but not all (if any) will achieve what we did. #CPFC

Perceptions in football can be a funny thing - hear so much praise about how well run Brighton, Bournemouth, Brentford are (and they are) Yet Palace hardly ever get that description (unless I’ve missed it) despite three trophies in two seasons, and 14 seasons running in the PL
