Honored to be in Beijing, China, on the historic occasion of the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between our countries, for a momentous and intensely productive day of diplomacy. Arriving at the International Department of the Communist Party of China (IDCPC), we were warmly received by IDCPC Minister Liu Haixing. It was a privilege to witness a highly productive brief meeting and a significant MoU signing ceremony between Deputy Prime Minister @MIshaqDar50 and Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar and Minister Liu Haixing, which laid a strong foundation for our high-level dialogue today and marked another vital step in our shared partnership. Our bilateral engagement moved beyond traditional diplomacy toward a stronger political and economic alignment as we attended the Opening Ceremony of the 2nd China-Pakistan Political Parties Forum and the 4th Meeting of the CPEC Political Parties Joint Consultation Mechanism, hosted by Vice Minister Ms. Sun Haiyan. As Secretary General of the Pakistan Muslim League N, it was an immense privilege to deliver the Leading Remarks at this forum. I highlighted that while political parties back home may differ strongly on domestic matters, the Pakistan–China friendship represents a rare and enduring national consensus where all parties come together in complete harmony and mutual respect. This platform has evolved far beyond formal diplomatic engagement into a true bridge of trust, ensuring our iron-clad alliance rises above political cycles and changes of government. I emphasized our multi-pronged strategy to consolidate high-level political mutual trust and deepen high-standard economic cooperation. As we advance into the era of CPEC 2.0, our focus is shifting from infrastructure-led growth toward high-quality industrialization, sustainability, and innovation. To complement the "Five Corridors" framework of CPEC 2.0 (Growth, Livelihood, Innovation, Green, and Open Regional Development), I proposed the establishment of "Five Political Corridors" between the IDCPC and Pakistan's political parties. These corridors will serve as institutional platforms for strategic coordination, sharing governance and poverty-alleviation lessons from China's historic development miracle, and cultivating youth and future leadership. I am pleased to share that this forward-looking framework aligns perfectly with Pakistan's National Economic Transformation Plan—URAAN Pakistan—creating powerful new engines for export-led growth and regional connectivity. Following the forum, representatives from both sides engaged in deep-dive presentations at the IDCPC Friendship Hall, mapping out a shared vision that echoes the words of our national poet Allama Iqbal, who foresaw the rise of China and the awakening of Asia as a transformative force for humanity. We celebrated this unbreakable bond with a ceremonial cake cutting, and the evening concluded beautifully over a small-range welcome dinner banquet hosted by our Chinese friends.
