Today is #CadetDay in #NovaScotia! 2021 marked the 11th year for this annual event recognizing the positive impact of the Cadet Program on Nova Scotian youth. Many thanks to @nsgov for hosting us at @NSLeg! @TimHoustonNS
Thanks @CanadianForces! Proud to lead the Cadet Program in Atlantic Canada. We're preparing today's youth for tomorrow. Check us out this fall! Www.canada.ca/join-cadets @5CdnDiv_5DivCA @RCN_MARLANT @RCAF_ARC @DFO_MAR
Yesterday, I assumed command of the Regional Cadet Support Unit (Atlantic), taking over
from Commander Peter Antonew, at a ceremony held in Shearwater. Cmdre Kurtz, @ComdCJCR, joined the ceremony virtually as presiding officer. @RCN_MARLANT @5CdnDiv_5DivCA @RCAF_ARC
We're proud to celebrate our Cadet Program's diversity. During #IndigenousHistoryMonth, take some time to reflect on the role Canada's #IndigenousPeoples have had in shaping this land we share and the role we all play towards reconciliation. Wela'lin! @cadetsca
My thoughts are with all those affected by the discovery at the
Kamloops Residential School. As we mark #IndigenousHistoryMonth, I encourage cadets and staff to learn more about Indigenous Peoples and our role in reconciliation:

In May, Canadians celebrate #AsianHeritageMonth. We've been highlighting stories and contributions of Asian Canadians this month on @AtlCadets and @cadetsca social media channels - check it out. Our program's diversity is its strength! @ComdCJCR
Echo your thoughts ma'am, our hearts and minds with the Royal Family; a life to remember and legacy to reflect upon!

Face masks protect us from COVID-19, they don’t protect our mental health. On #BellLetsTalkDay, let's have a conversation about mental health. Being open and honest will help tear down barriers some people face in reaching out. There's never a wrong time to talk! #BellLetsTalk
Les masques nous protègent contre COVID-19, mais ils ne protègent pas notre santé mentale. Le jour du #BellCause nous allons avoir une conversation sur la santé mentale. Il n'y a jamais de mauvais moment pour parler ! @CadetsCan
What a year, eh? On behalf of the RCSU(A), Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, Joyeux Noël et Bonne Année! Check out my holiday video here: business.facebook.com/watch/… @cadetsca @ComdCJCR
