Living with the @volvocars C40 Recharge this week. 402 horsepower and remarkably refined ride quality plus a great interior makes this a stellar tourer. Only catch is the range. 226 miles EPA isn't exactly class-leading, but it is realistic.

We are *this* close to 1M Subscribers on @Carfection. If you like what we do, and you haven’t already, please head over to youtube.com/carfection and help us get to this massive milestone.
Since @KiwiEV and many others are hitting us directly crying foul, going to to share my reply to this more publicly. I encourage everyone to actually read both articles before sharing this image. The Lexus system directly addresses the major issues I mentioned in my editorial.
The irony…. Of course @CNET throwing shade at @tesla but when it’s someone else it’s good news. @elonmusk

As if first-driving three production cars wasn't enough last week, I also took a ride in the EQXX -- and managed more efficiency over our route than in its record-setting run. From cactus leather to passive battery cooling, this thing is an engineering marvel.
The @MercedesBenz Vision EQXX traveled 626 miles from Germany to the south of France, and it still had 15% charge remaining. Read our first ride review here: trib.al/ZVSyy78

Fun fact: at 3,249 lbs and 300 hp, the GR Corolla has almost exactly the same power/weight ratio as the original USDM Subaru WRX STI, which in 2004 weighed 3,263 lbs and also made 300 hp. This thing should be a riot and I'm so jealous of anyone who's lucky to get one.
2023 @Toyota GR Corolla debuts for the US with 300-hp turbo three-cylinder engine, rally-tuned AWD and an awesome widebody trib.al/NJw5qUG
