Here's how the reward pools break down:

What makes the setup interesting is that the categories focus on different measures of performance. One rewards trading activity, another focuses on return on investment, and the third looks at trading volume from new users.

What if Ethereum is the reason Starknet canโt go fully post-quantum on its own timeline?
@Starknet is targeting full post-quantum security by 2027. Ethereumโs target is 2029.
But as an L2, Starknetโs bridge and data availability still depend on Ethereum.
Even if Starknet upgrades everything it controls, parts of its security remain tied to Ethereumโs timeline.
An independent L1 could change that, giving Starknet more control over its cryptographic upgrades.
Thatโs why the community voted to research the L1 path.
StarkWare ร Starknet Foundation are now working on a paper. No decision has been made, and any actual move would require another community vote.
The trade-off?
Keep Ethereumโs settlement security and work around its timeline, or explore an L1 with more control over its own upgrades.

Why does the difference matter?
Registrations tell us how many agents have entered the system. Transactions tell us how much activity the network is recording. One measures the size of the roster; the other reveals movement across the ecosystem.
It is like comparing the number of shops in a market with the number of purchases taking place. Both matter, but they answer different questions.
Of course, transaction totals alone cannot prove that every registered agent is active or that activity is evenly distributed.
Still, the acceleration deserves attention.
The conversation around AI agents should not stop at how many exist. We should also ask what they actually do.
