September is #ChildhoodCancerAwarenessMonth. Last year over 15,000 children were diagnosed with cancer in the United States. We remain committed to finding a cure. Less than 4% of the NCI cancer research budget was devoted to childhood cancer research.

A child-run lemonade stand in St. Petersburg marked its 10th year Saturday, raising money for cancer research. C&C Lemonade Factory, run by Caroline and Charlotte Gallagher, served about 300 cups of fresh lemonade during the milestone event.
