Alhaji, In case you have forgotten, we have not. On the 22nd of June 2024, you visited late former President Buhari in his hometown of Daura. Less than a year later, on the 11th of April 2025, you visited him again at his retirement home in Kaduna, renovated by President Tinubu. Those two opportunities presented you with chances to ask former President Buhari, who was President at the time of the Lekki Toll Gate protests, the questions you are now asking President Tinubu. That it took you six years to ask these questions is a testament to your insincerity and desperation to become President. Nigerians are not fools, they know you do not care about them; you only care about your inordinate ambition. In case your memory is failing you, sir, may I remind you that President Tinubu, who was an ordinary citizen in 2020, suffered perhaps more than anyone else during the protests. His Bourdillon home was almost razed, and he and his domestic staff fled for safety. He was harassed, cyberbullied, insulted, and cursed. Furthermore, using the phrase "Lekki Massacre" to score cheap political points ignores the fact that a definitive, legally established massacre remains unproven to this day, with forensic evidence and multi-agency investigations heavily contradicting the initial social media casualty figures. Twisting the complex tragedy of 2020 to pin it on a man who was himself a primary financial and political victim of the fallout is uncharitable and mean-spirited. This constant mudslinging is a transparent attempt to dust off your failed "Economic Recovery Plan" and hijack historical grief for campaign leverage. This is your final attempt at the Presidency of Nigeria, and it is tragic to watch you throw everything against the wall just to see what sticks. Good luck on a journey that is clearly headed to a dead end!
SIX YEARS AFTER LEKKI, THE APC STILL OWES NIGERIANS ANSWERS AND YOUNG PEOPLE A FUTURE. Six years after the Lekki shooting, Nigeria is still waiting for a clear answer to one devastating question: Who gave the order? Let us also not forget that in October 2020, Bola Tinubu, rather than demonstrating the empathy and compassion the tragedy demanded, suggested that those who suffered casualties during the shooting had questions to answer. He asked: “How were they there? How long were they there? What kind of characters are they?” At a moment when Nigerians were demanding accountability for the violence against peaceful protesters, his response appeared more concerned with questioning the victims than demanding answers from those responsible. The anger trending across the country today is not a social media performance. It is grief that has been left to harden into distrust. It is the pain of families still demanding answers, and of young people who watched their calls for dignity meet violence and then watched the country move on without the truth they deserve. The APC has governed Nigeria through these six years. It cannot keep asking Nigerians to remember the dead while refusing to confront the unanswered questions. A government that cannot give citizens confidence that their lives matter has failed one of its most basic duties. And the hardship young people face today deepens that betrayal. Petrol at ₦1,405 a litre means more than an expensive journey. It means less money for food, school, rent and work. It means a young person can do everything asked of them and still find the door to a decent life shut in their face. The APC promised renewal. For too many Nigerians, the experience has been rising costs, shrinking opportunity and a future pushed further out of reach. No speech about growth can excuse empty pockets. No anniversary tribute can replace justice. No campaign slogan can erase six years of unanswered questions. Just this morning, one of my aides told me about a young woman who was forced to resign from her job this month because her salary could no longer cover the cost of getting to work. Her words were as heartbreaking as they were revealing: “The pay no longer covers transport. Everything in Nigeria just dey increase in price. Feels like I'm working for Bolt guys.” Imagine that: a Nigerian who has secured employment, yet can no longer afford to remain employed. This is the cruel reality of an economy in which even those fortunate enough to have jobs are being priced out of earning a living. The policies of this government are stifling not only the unemployed but also hardworking Nigerians whose salaries have become increasingly worthless in the face of rising costs. This is precisely the hardship my Economic Recovery Plan is designed to address, with one overriding objective: to Make Nigeria Affordable Again. My policy response is built around relief people can feel: support tied to fuel refined in Nigeria, with the savings passed on to consumers; more local production to create jobs; protection for minimum wage earners and student support; and funding these measures by cutting waste instead of imposing new taxes. Young Nigerians deserve the truth about Lekki. They deserve a government that protects life, and an economy that gives work a chance to lead somewhere. Six years on, the APC has had ample time to answer for its record. Nigerians are entitled to ask why the answers and the opportunities are still missing. #LekkiMassacre -AA

These counterfeiters certainly have no conscience. Until we start imposing a death penalty on them, they will never stop their nefarious activities.
NAFDAC Uncovers Suspected Counterfeit Alcoholic Drinks Factory in Aba NAFDAC has uncovered a suspected counterfeit alcoholic drinks production facility at No. 25 Omenazu Street, Aba, Abia State. Acting on credible intelligence, officials discovered the facility operating in unhygienic conditions. The suspected operator reportedly fled upon the team’s arrival, abandoning a vehicle in which counterfeit packaging materials bearing the names of Sir Edwards Scotch Whisky and Scottish Hills Whisky, empty bottles and a drum containing approximately 200 litres of liquid were found. Inside the facility, officials found counterfeit packaging materials, bottle caps, sealing machines, empty bottles, cartons, tanks containing various liquid concoctions and dirty sieves reportedly used in the production process. Plastic buckets and 200-litre drums containing ethanol and tree bark immersed in ethanol were also discovered, raising serious concerns about the safety and quality of the products being produced. The estimated value of the equipment, materials and facility components is over ₦500 million. The Agency urges members of the public to provide credible information on suspected illegal manufacturing activities to the NAFDAC Call Centre on 0800-1-623322 or 0700-1-623322, or email [email protected].

The president (Tinubu) said, 'Look, we must win Oyo State. Go and do whatever you are doing.' When I came in, the first thing he asked me was, 'Fatai, how is Oyo?' I said there is no problem. He said, 'There is a problem. Don’t tell me there is no problem.' - Senator Abdulfatai Buhari (Oyo North) on his recent meeting with President Tinubu and the three things he demands from the president to wins Oyo North for President Tinubu.

No governor in history has saved even 10% of what you claim to have saved.. __ by Peter Obi The issue is this, when the people elect and entrust you with public resources to do a job, leaving that job undone and calling it "savings" is not prudence, it is FAILURE. You cannot leave critical work unfinished while your people suffer and then present that neglect as an achievement. What kind of savings is that? At this point, Peter Obi @PeterObi should stop speaking on this matter.

This tribal tag is becoming interesting. Imagine asking if Ogun people are business people. The same Ogun State that produced the 3rd richest man in Nigeria? The same Ogun that is already a business hub? The same Ogun that is practically an extension of Lagos State? You people should keep it up. Let’s see who will benefit more from this hatred you have unleashed against the Yoruba.

A lawmaker @IretiKingibe misleading Nigerians saying Nigerians will pay 25% of their total earnings. She LIED. FACTS: 1: there is no tax law in Nigeria that requires everyone to pay 25% of their total earnings. 2: who it affects: The 25% personal income tax rate applies ONLY to the portion of TAXABLE INCOME FOR INDIVIDUALS EARNING ABOVE N50 million annually. 3: again, I repeat, those earning above N50 million. 4: Read slowly pls: Incomes between the tax-free threshold and N50 million are SPLIT into progressive lower bands (ranging from 15% to 23% rather THAN a SINGLE 25% flat deduction lies @IretiKingibe is peddling. 5: @Senator_Akpabio @barauijibrin @NGRSenate @mob_sen_leader should initiate a discipline action against @IretiKingibe 7: @ijeomadaisy @jrnaib2 @NigeriaRevenue @AderonkeW @mrlurvy
