Got that re-watch in. Quick Week 1 Thoughts - Becht looked calm and poised in the pocket. Trusted his protections and took what the defense gave him. Looked like a true veteran back there. - Yesterday was the Koby Howard show. He showed great hands and an ability to make people miss. The passing game in general looked reborn. - Running game wasn’t great, but Marshall was also selling out against the run quite a bit. 4 guys capable but as of right now, none have separated themselves. The guy who gets the most carries could be a game by game thing. - Defense was fast and flying around to the football. Tackling was really good for game 1. They lived in the backfield with 9 TFL’s. Anytime you pitch a shut out, that’s an A+ performance. - Josiah Zayas, remember the name. That’s a true freshman who’s gonna be a stud as he develops. Overall, PSU dominated an inferior opponent from the first snap and never let up. Business-like performance. Loved how many backups got reps. #WeAre🔵⚪️

Underrated part of this play: Andrew Rappleyea with an absolutely fantastic block picking up the blitz on Becht’s blindside.
