I’m proud to earn the endorsement of NFIB for my record of supporting Iowa small businesses and family farms.
My liberal opponent, Josh Turek, supports a 50% tax rate on small businesses and many family farms, which would put them out of business.
While Josh would raise taxes on small businesses and family farms, I’ll continue to work across the aisle to deliver for our main streets and rural communities.

C’mon, Josh. You skipped the vote on the Iowa Farm Bill.
But when you did show up…you voted against Iowa farmers. You voted to allow fake meat to be labeled as real which is just crazy, and to let climate activists target our hardworking farmers. You support Prop 12 and a 50% tax rate on many family farms.
I passed the Farm Bill through the House as well as year-round E15 and I will always fight for Iowa ag in the Senate.

Josh Turek skipped the initial vote to create the MEGA program the legislature is now amending to help bring the largest steel plant in the U.S. to Iowa.
He couldn’t be bothered to show up, and trust me — that matters to Iowans.
Hopefully he isn’t too busy to vote today with thousands of good-paying jobs on the line!
