Jeremiah Trotter Jr.’s ejection on the opening kickoff isn’t even the fastest ejection in the family. His dad, Jeremiah Trotter, was tossed after a pre-game fight in Eagles-Falcons season opener in 2005.

A kicker explaining that would be lying. Kickers are thriving, not struggling.
FBS kickers are 86.9% inside 40 this year.
That's the second-best mark in 11 seasons, and their 32 makes ABOVE expected once you adjust for distance. Kicking has never been better in college.

2 of my biggest takeaways as we’ve set up college teams with the scheme tracking I do have been:
1) Midrange efficiency is WAY worse in college than the NBA. For a higher % of players it’s a bad shot.
2) The gap between organized & freelance offense in college is even larger.

The biggest unspoken hero of this game was LT Vlad Dyakonov. To come in as a true freshman and play that well, massive.

I don’t even believe in targeting being a foul I think it’s a made up penalty to CYA for the concussion lawsuits coming, but yeah, this was bad. Plus the clock error down by the goal line, the missed pass interference call, the overturn of the interception. The SEC has an issue on their hands with this one.
How is this not targeting. A clear helmet to helmet hit on Ryan Coleman-Williams. @ClintRLamb

F that. A number one corner gets like 700-1.5M. You invest that kind of money in a player you expect him to not act like an idiot and commit that penalty.
Your #1 responsibility is to win. None of that mounding young men shit is a job requirement. It’s pro.
Deboer is right.
What’s going on with these coaches? You can be upset, but you can’t let emotions dictate how you treat players. Coaches aren’t perfect either. Your #1 responsibility is to teach, develop and show players how to handle victory and defeat. Coach DeBoer failed miserably at that.

“If I was a player and there were stories about what we were doing at Manchester United, I’d be 𝐃𝐈𝐒𝐆𝐔𝐒𝐓𝐄𝐃. I’d be disgusted if there were any dodgy dealings or anyone cooking the books.”
“Some people think this is a bit strong, but I wouldn’t feel like I’d earned a league title if there was something dodgy going on in the background. 𝐀𝐁𝐒𝐎𝐋𝐔𝐓𝐄𝐋𝐘 𝐍𝐎𝐓!”

I was talking at a party to a showrunner friend who was really candid about how much pressure there is right now from networks for shows to use AI to cut costs-- mainly on things like faking aerial shots and doing inserts for things that were missed during shooting.

Dear friends, during some recent medical examinations, the doctors found a small, localized nodule in my lung. It was detected at a very early stage and is well-localized. The doctors believe that it is best to intervene, so, following their advice, I have decided to undergo surgery to remove it. The operation is already scheduled to take place in the coming days. I thank you for your spiritual closeness and entrust myself to your prayers.
Happy Birthday Trent Jordan!
Extremely proud to be your brother and grateful for every moment we’ve spent together since this very first one.
For Colts fans sake and Americas sake (let’s be honest, for my own personal job security) I will remain unbiased, even on your birthday.

USC had true freshmen Tom Tom Topui and Jaimeon Winfield in on that big 3rd down play. Talk about experience with live bullets. This is how you get better as a football player.
