“It’s existential.” With no natural population growth coming, Canada needs more immigration to avoid incredible decline, which means that in addition to higher targets, we need more housing and social infrastructure. It’s as important as anything. thestar.com/opinion/canada-s…

I'm wearing my "Lake Ontario" t-shirt at a hotel in Cancun, and two women got on the elevator with me. They turned and told me it was originally called "Lake America." I actually got quite angry with them. They're either Trumpers or idiots. Probably both.

In what world is this not a high tackle?! Both arms over his shoulders. Then Beaudy dives off his feet on top of him for good measure. Clearest penalty try I’ve ever seen.

If Musk lived in Canada, the most he could give to a candidate would be $1,775. That is one of the most important safeguards we have of democracy in this country. 1/2

3 years ago, this was an ordinary date for most people. Except us. Today in 1990, Lynn & I were married. Dancing into life as partners, friends. Of course, October 7 means something very different now. We’ll mark the day as always but aware that it will never feel quite the same.

This is fundamentally wrong and very unhealthy. If you don't know how to cook, take a course or use YouTube as a resource, anybody can do it, even Liz! 😉
Steely Liz@TotesLizOct 6
I agree with this. The people who keep screaming that it’s “cheaper” eat the same depressing, boring food, day after day. I’m not making chicken and rice and sandwiches and stew for weeks on end. Sure, that would be “cheaper” in the long run. But you’re eating like a dog.

I just used the TakeCharge NL mini-split heat pump calculator...This doesn't seem right? 23 years to pay back? Saving $13 a month?

It takes a bold production team behind the scenes to do this as well of course, but Sam Warburton doing this on air is great. When they did similar stuff in studio midweek it was a but dry, but pitch-side it works beautifully.

I think the sympathy for Pete Rose will wane in years to come as the potential for numerous athletes to get caught up in gambling scandals grows.
