🚧 PAVILION PROJECT UPDATE ⚽️🏗️
CJCE are delighted to announce that our Stage 1 Building Warrant for the new community pavilion has been approved.
This is a significant milestone in the development process and is a critical condition of any funder that the relevant construction consents are in place prior to funding being agreed.
By means of a funding update, last week we had a very positive meeting with three main funding partners, all of whom are on board with the project.
As with any sizeable building project, securing funding can take many twists and turns and we have encountered this over the last year.
We are however moving forward with great positivity as we look to move the design phase into a stage 2 building warrant application.
Thanks to everyone who has supported the project to get it this far
We are continuing to work hard in the background and are in a stronger position than ever to deliver the project

We’re delighted to support the launch of the Parent Power East Ayrshire chapter!

📷 Wednesday 18th March
📷 6pm – 7pm
This event is open to parents and carers from across East Ayrshire — including Cumnock and surrounding towns and villages — who would like to learn more about how Parent Power works and how it can support young people into further and higher education.
Representatives from the University of Strathclyde as one of the programme’s key partners, will be speaking about the value and relevance of a university degree in today’s climate, and what opportunities are available for local young people.
If you’re a parent or carer who wants to better understand pathways into university and how to support your child’s future, this is a great opportunity to come along, ask questions and find out more.
Please feel free to share and help spread the word across our community

We have been delighted to support the Scottish FA Network Rail Programme over the past year.
In partnership with the Scottish FA, the programme helps spread vital railway safety messages to grassroots clubs across Scotland.
Did you know?
Overhead power lines carry 25,000 volts and are never switched off – that’s 100 times more powerful than the electricity supply in your home.
Trespassing on the railway can result in a fine of up to £1,000 and a criminal record – compared to less than £10 for a new football.
Electricity can jump up to 3 metres, which is higher than a full-size goal crossbar.
A train travelling at 125mph can take up to 2,000 metres – the length of 20 football pitches – to stop. @networkrail @BTP @SharonDowey_ @ScotFASouthWest @CMochan
Over the October Holidays we ran our annual October Football Camp 🙌
In Partnership with Scottish Gas and the Scottish FA!
A massive thanks to everyone who came along and we can’t wait for the next one ⚽️
Exciting Progress for Our Community Pavilion!
CJCE are delighted to announce that our Stage 1 Building Warrant application has now been submitted — marking a significant design milestone for our new Community Pavilion project.
We would like to thank all of the youth teams, local businesses, and individuals for their generous donations and continued support. Without you, we would not have reached this key stage.
We’re also pleased to share that we’ve received significant funding from the Renewable Energy Fund, which will allow us to progress with our Stage 2 Building Warrant application, planned for submission in early 2026.
A huge thank you again to everyone who has supported the project so far — it’s very much appreciated!
Railway stations, underpasses and level crossings are open to the public.
If you step on the track, the land beside the track, or near the railway that isn’t open to the public, you are trespassing.
It is dangerous and illegal. You could be taken to court and face a £1,000 fine
RAILWAY ELECTRICITY IS 100x MORE POWERFUL THAN AT HOME
STAY CLEAR OF THE TRACKS - Electricity can jump up to 3m, don't play with kites/balloons near overhead power lines
USE A LEVEL CROSSING - Shortcuts across tracks can kill
KNOW THE SIGNS - Railway signs could save your life
A train travelling at 125mph takes 2000m or 20 full length football pitches to stop. Even if a train driver can see someone or something on the track he can't stop or swerve like a car can. If there is something in the way of a train, it will not stop.
KEEP OFF THE TRACKS
