you stupid?
My friend’s 6-year relationship ended yesterday over a little mistake. She had a one-night stand at a party and went straight to her boyfriend’s place. He claimed her body smelled like she’d had s#x and broke up unbothered. Can men actually smell it or was he guessing?

Kobe and Jordan took the game of basketball serious …. They were killers, no messing around. Kobe and Michael were all business. No fooling around. Then you got LeBron throwing a ball in the air and dancing for warm-ups, plays football for warm-ups and it’s all for show…. To get more attention LeBron doesn’t even respect the game that made him. What are you doing? Respect the game you bum….. Kobe and Jordan never took basketball as a joke. LeBron turned basketball softttttttttt and unserious ….

Dual Momentum (Antonacci GEM) stands out in long-term backtests. Monthly rank of 12-month returns across US/intl equities (or cash if absolute momentum negative) has delivered ~13-16% CAGR historically with max drawdowns around 20-30% (vs 50%+ for buy-and-hold) and higher risk-adjusted metrics, all with one simple monthly check. Pure 10/12-month SMA trend filters offer even simpler DD protection at similar simplicity but slightly lower returns.

For a 15-year set-and-forget retirement portfolio, use one low-cost target-date fund maturing around 2041. It holds a broad mix of global stocks and bonds and automatically grows more conservative. Why: thousands of holdings for diversification, tiny fees that compound in your favor, and built-in rebalancing so prices never need checking. Long-term data favors this passive approach over most active strategies.

off of one pre season game? pathetic take!
Am I the only one who thinks Jalen Brunson didn’t get any better this offseason? He’s still a good player, but I just don’t see the improvement.

How broken is the housing market? My buddy rents a 3 bed, 2 bath house in LA for $8,500/month His landlord just offered to sell it to him directly for $2.3M before putting it on the market He asked me if he should do it? So I did the math with him With 20% down, his total payment would be over $15,000/month That's around $7,000 more than his rent. For the same house To keep his payment at $8,500/month, he'd need to put $1.5 MILLION down Read that again He needs $1.5M in cash just to pay the same amount per month he's paying right now renting Before you think about buying a home, do the math

WELCOME TO OUR FIRST MEN'S STYLE ISSUE. We've often covered men’s style over the years. There was the 1971 cover story wondering if men would get into high heels for fall and the 1996 profile of male super-models (“They’re hot, they’re rich, they’re openly straight”). And for three seasons starting in 2006, the back half of the women’s fashion issue was a mini men’s magazine. Now, 20 years later — when even 15-year-olds are “hype” about Ralph and Armani’s got a brand-new designer — it feels like the right moment to dedicate an entire issue to the subject. One thing we’ve noticed from the runway: wearing all your clothes at once. And another for our peptidian age: wearing hardly anything at all. Somewhere in between is our shoot at the Russian & Turkish Baths on East 10th Street, where photographer Ryan McGinley shvitzed and kibitzed with some of New York’s most stylish men, including Sivan, who just moved to the city.

Heath Ledger’s Joker is the most overrated performance in cinema history. People only worship it because he died.

Jordan didn't play long enough to take a backseat to anyone. And the talent level in the league when Jordan was winning championships doesn't compare to modern NBA talent.

you have a lot of problems.. but soo many, $395 for a car payment when you are renting smart? $400 plus for health insurance a month? thats 800 dollars a month times 12 ? 9.6k? a year? the more i read this post the more i hate your generation!! anything for clicks right?
I FINALLY PUT EVERY MONTHLY BILL INTO ONE SPREADSHEET AND REALIZED THE PROBLEM ISN’T THAT I CAN’T BUDGET. Rent: $1,925 Car payment: $395 Car insurance: $205 Health insurance: $435 Student loans: $285 Groceries: $410 Phone + utilities: $225 TOTAL: $3,880 EVERY MONTH. I make $63,500 a year. After taxes, I bring home roughly $4,300 a month. That leaves me with about $420. For gas. Emergencies. Car repairs. Clothes. Anything unexpected. And something is ALWAYS unexpected. I checked the spreadsheet four times because I was convinced I had screwed up the math. I didn’t. I’m not spending hundreds on takeout. I’m not buying designer clothes. I’m not living some ridiculous lifestyle. I’m working, paying the bills, and watching almost my entire paycheck disappear before I even get to decide what to do with it. At some point, “just budget better” stops being advice. There’s simply nothing left to budget.

yep except play Defense!
LeBron James on what his role will be with the Sixers this season: "Whatever the team needs me to do. The luxury of my game is that I can do everything. Literally, I can do everything."

It’s gotta suck being a Sixers fan: - Years of tanking & never make the ECF - Knicks consistently beat you in the playoffs - Knicks fans TAKE OVER your arena - Now you find out you’re LeBron’s sloppy seconds Incredible lows for Philly… Fake tough city, fake passionate fans
LeBron says he planned to join the Knicks before they won: “I had visions of playing in the Garden and finishing my career in the Garden... But after they beat San Antonio, I was like, 'Hey, I can't.'... I couldn't.” (via @mcten)

its crazy that this man is my age and is not remotely self aware of how cringe he is!
LeBron: "I had visions of…finishing my career in the Garden…I think it's the #1 arena in the world…But after they beat San Antonio I was like 'Hey I can't'…Y'all wouldn't have let me lay that down…But much respect to the Knicks…unbelievable team, unbelievable players. Shout out Jalen Brunson. I love that guy, he's unbelievable"

Giannis "The best player's whoever's able to impact the game, help his team go deep & win the championship… Right now the best team in the NBA is the New York Knicks" Bam (makes face) "Mmm" Giannis "And they have one of the best players, Jalen Brunson I know (Bam) didn't like that. It's a rivalry right? But we gonna do our job, we gotta do our job man And if we do our job & win games, then we'll see"
