Our UCLA team, in collaboration with Hanoi Medical University and Chiang Mai University, was thrilled to host the Cutting-edge, Customized, and Comprehensive (CCC) Fogarty Summer Institute in Chiang Mai, Thailand on August 10–11. Trainees shared their research progress and strengthened skills in implementation science, grant administration, and career development. We’re proud to support the next generation of global health researchers!

September 18th is National HIV/AIDS and Aging Awareness Day (#HIVandAging), a day to recognize how advances in #HIVtreatment support people living with HIV to live longer-healthier lives and how older people living with #HIV may face different issues than their younger counterparts.
Over 50% of people living with diagnosed HIV in the U.S. are over the age of 50. People with HIV are living longer, healthier lives thanks to antiretroviral therapy (ART) and other HIV treatment advancements. Despite this, older adults living with HIV experience unique challenges as they age.
