CHEAC and our #CACounties partners continue to urge @CAGovernor and #CALeg to pursue all options to protect healthcare access by dedicating funding to rebuild county indigent care infrastructure or funding an alternative like #PATH4Care.
While these investments sustain critical public health infrastructure, the #CABudget leaves a gap in our healthcare system. Hundreds of thousands of Californians risk losing #MediCal coverage under new H.R. 1 work requirements & may soon turn to county indigent care programs.
