Today marks three years since the horrific terrorist attacks of 7 October in Israel.
We remember the innocent young lives cut short at a music festival—a generation that gathered with hopes, dreams, and their entire future ahead of them.
We honor their memory and recognize the enduring ordeal faced by those taken hostage, as well as the profound suffering of their families.
Parents, brothers and sisters, grandparents and neighbours, colleagues and people all over the world were face with the shock of unjustified violence and killings.
Our thoughts remain with the families of the victims and all those who have lived in constant fear since that tragic day.
Such atrocities must never happen again. To ensure lasting security, every voice, every action, and every stand against violence matters.
Nothing justifies acts of terror. It is only through peace that we can begin to rebuild trust. We reaffirm that Hamas must be disarmed, and we continue to stand in support for the two-state solution as a path to long term peace.
