ML407 holding the fort - just! Though 3 to 1 was often the odds for Spitfire / ME109. Now imagine a day out - two mates - 1 in ML407 other in our 2 seat Buchon/ME109 flanked by a Spitfire V and a Buchon/ME109 four engines what a sound what a sight!

ML407 in full D-Day markings painted on with rollers and brushes as done 74 years ago for Johnnie Houlton DFC to fly his Spitfire on the Overlord (D-Day) battle where they shot down the first enemy aircraft on D-Day at Omaha Beach. We, with ML407 honour those who saved so many.

A new page from us at Air Leasing not specific to the Grace Spitfire, more of a general insight in to what we are up to. Like us, there's an unseen pic of a new arrival... We also have a shiny new website - ultimatewarbirdflights.com/

September 2004, with ML407’s Merlin engine at full power and me at full concentration, I had the honour of flying in formation with The Red Arrows for a photo shoot + 3 flypasts at Scampton

Me entering a loop in 1994 not pulling too hard so I do not black out, due to G forces, but hard enough to fly a good loop in formation with camera ship which was being flown by the truly incredibly talented Pete Kynsey with John Dibbs on camera who did do a brill job!!
