I always love working with and learning alongside teachers and leaders. Today was extra special because the sports enthusiast in me LOVED presenting in the gym at @GC_CSC High School. What an amazing setup and facility they have! Slides on the scoreboards? Let’s go!

Whomever the kind soul is that found my water bottle and took it to the registration desk at #NCSM24, you WIN today! My water intake has been stellar at this conference, and I was feeling very disappointed in my irresponsible actions:)

Check out this full house of dedicated Indiana educators who spent their day with me and @Jeffharker314 who put in the WORK today to better understand effective Tier 1 instruction for Checkpoint 1 in mathematics. Their students are some seriously lucky kids!

Today was First 20ish Days workshop day. How we start our year in math class sets the tone for the entire year. If we want kids to be successful at learning math, we have to actually set them up for success. So honored educators chose to spend their day thinking about this!

Busy week started with an awesome day at @PikeSchools doing 4 sessions on some of my favorite topics at ElevatED. So much collaboration and so many great questions. Loved being there!

Watching @KinartailTanika, @RMurrayKINL, and @LenaDarnay lead educators through the entire TIE-IN experience is just a real treat. The way @KeepINLearning has grown and the people we have creating relevant, practical, and implementable PD and experiences is truly phenomenal.

We are 30 min in to the inaugural TIE-IN event & the panel from @IndianaFever has me 🤯 on how we can connect jobs in the sports industry to our classrooms. The TIE-IN opportunity from @EducateIN, @CIESCtweetsand @KeepINLearning is the real deal for educators. Check it out!

The opportunity to connect with other educators from all over is instrumental to my growth as a math educator and leader. These people and so many more are such a great support system whether online, via text, or showing up at my presentations. I’m so lucky.

Presenting at #BTCC24 this year was truly such a treat and an honor. Grateful for the opportunity to share and learn alongside so many educators. There is so much great math work happening out there and so much good work to continue to do. I’m here for it.
