You want to know why Metallica has a worldwide fanbase while other artists burn their careers?
James Hetfield made it plain in Vegas: leave the politics at the door. Fans buy tickets for heavy music, not lectures.
Stick to what you're gifted at. When you give people an escape instead of a sermon, you build loyalty that lasts decades.
Replying to @PennStateFball
@PennStateFball @PSUBarstool @GoPSUsports Let me get this straight: you spend $750,000,000 to build a fancy pants stadium and hoity toity club boxes for the rich folks, raise the commoners tickets 30% or so for tickets we can’t resell for close to face value…
I’m not renewing my tickets next year. That was the general consensus of my seat mates in my section. I can easily score a game or two at below face value and save on the “donation” . I can avoid the headache of relishing tickets and eating tickets to crappy games …

Don’t you feel bad for schools like Rutgers after watching or experiencing something like this?
In 2001 George W Bush proposed a partial privatization plan for Social Security so you could put 10% of your SS contribution into the markets.
People rejected this.
We can now see that if it had passed, the 10% that went into the markets would have outperformed the 90% the government managed, the program would be solvent, and the average SS recipient would be receiving 2X what they currently receive.
The worst bet you’ll ever make is betting on government.
