A few months ago we had an entire discourse over wheter or not the gerudo from Zelda were an orientalist depiction of muslims
I don't think you understand how castration works if you think you can be so by any means and still be able to impregnate people at will
The franchise abandoned the LOZ model in the next game, OoT uses the LttP structure and kept using it till BotW, that's why it's called the "traditional" model, because it's the one traditionally used by most of the franchise history
It's infuriating to see so many Zelda fans not know what they are talking about.
The "OOT Model" of 3D Zelda isn't the "traditional model" the original LOZ is. BOTW is a modernization of the original LOZ.
The OOT Model only came about because the technology didn't exist at the time for the devs to make a true open world LOZ like the original.
If you prefer the OOT model that is fine but don't say it's the traditional model cause it sure as hell isn't.
A big part of the premise is that the past got missinterpreted (either accidentally or on porpouse), narratively, recovering the conection to the past lives would work as a reconection to the past in a way that would help clear that missinterpretation
Let’s say Pavi and Nisha go on a mission to restore the connection to the past lives…what purpose would it really serve narratively?
I love Aang, Roku, and Kyoshi like everyone else but…what wisdom could they actually impart? The world that they lived in is way different than the one that the twins are living in
Aang already cut ties with Roku once before because he felt his advice was outdated
Ironically Kyoshi might have the closest thing to experiencing what they have now, since she had to spend a long time re-stabilizing the world since Kuruk was fighting spirits. But no one can really give them the same advice.
The only place we can see them jumping in the avatar state, using that experience. Problem is 1.) they haven’t used the avatar state at all yet and 2.) they are already powerful in it because of Raava giving her energy. Also, I doubt in this day of age we’ll be allowed to see a 70 year old man take control of a 9 year old girls body
I think worst of all, it kinda takes away the consequences of Korra’s really shitty behavior in season 2, since it felt like losing the lives was a punishment for not listening to anyone and isolating from her mentors, friends, and boyfriend off
How in the fuck is stacking rocks on top of eachother killing small animals? what kind of looney tunes butterfly effect bullshit are you imagining happens when you leave two or more rocks stacked in the woods?
Replying to @CageFooName
Oh fuck off. Stacking rocks genuinely kills small animals and disturbs the ecosystem and it takes zero effort to simply not do it.
Do you guys really think Zuko had the only blue demon mask in existence? he got that shit from a gift shop when he was like 9 years old, Karthik probably got it from some ruins
To anyone thinking this might be a stretch, Kyoshi was find to be the reincarnation of Kuruk because she sang a song composed for his wife by him that only those close to him would know and Aang recognized that the girl Roku married was the same one he had a crush on when +
For me, this is another argument in favor of the theory that Pavi is the only Avatar and Korra’s reincarnation 🥴
Pavi finds some dolls in a room and doesn’t even know who they are (Korra and Asami). But for some reason, she plays with them and makes them kiss. So she’s literally acting out the love story between herself and her girlfriend from her past life without even realizing it 💚
Korra’s next life is literally playing with dolls and reenacting her own love story 💚🥴
Isn’t that just so adorable? 🥴
GTA did not invent nor popularised the open world concept, that has been a thing since at least the 70s and the first Zelda game is often quoted as one of (if not THE) first open world games, do not discuss history of you're not willing to open a book
The issue here is that the writers wanted Unalaq to lose but were so preocupied with making an expectacle of it they made the heros look so incompetent it tarnished their reputation
White people saw that and concluded that black people were ALL LIKE THAT AT A CULTURAL LEVEL and must be treated in kind, that's what
A lot people forgot, or didn't knew, that there was a very specific lore reason why Azula was the only character that could use blue flames on the regular so this is either a retcon or the writers just said "fuck it" and gave it to her just because it looked cool without checking
Simply put, population size, if you have a city with 1 million inhabitants and one with just 10 thousand in wich of them is more likely for a random person to be born? keep in mind every cero you take from the larger one reduces the chances by a magnitud of at least 10
Yo quiero que me digan de donde sacaron ustedes que la generación de rayo (explícitamente el control) requería de paz mental, porque en ningún momento se dijo tal cosa
She literally goes back to water bending in THE CLIP YOU'RE USING because the fire didn't worked, seems like a bad strategic choice on her part
I think you all forgot that Korrasami happened in a time when any action between two characters of the same sex that didn't have a giant neon sign that read "IT'S PLATONIC AND NOT ROMANTIC" above it would get your children network show cancelled on the spot
