It amazes me that more people aren't solving this with automation. It can be done. I'm doing it. So is @CFDevelop.

Koru now has an experimental(!) and partial C#/.NET-backend.
Our effect-branches/generators emit to static calls so the performance is good, as expected.
Test coverage nowhere near Zig, but a fun start.

Claude has discovered a previously unknown enzyme system hidden in the DNA of bacteriophages. Beside the enzyme’s gene sits a long array of repeating DNA—a structure that looks somewhat similar to CRISPR.
We don’t yet understand what this system does, but only a handful of known systems share its features, and all of them are able to cut, copy, and paste DNA. Historically, the discovery of such programmable systems has helped revolutionize medicine. CRISPR, for instance, is now the foundation of genetic medicines. But it will take much more work to learn what this system does, and whether it can be put to similar use.

Koru has native effect branches. LINQ in C# does something interesting, it tricks your brain to think that an OO/procedural language can mimic functional programming. But can it really, and what is the performance cost?

Every time agent code ticks you off, invest in systems / linters / etc that won’t allow that slop through next time.
It’s annoying but it’s worth it I promise.

Should we care about adding programming language features when we're writing less of the code ourselves? Sure, especially when readability matters.

More than a year ago, I stopped writing code and jumped on 100% AI-generated code.
The code improved from “slop” to “OK” steadily. The QA process evolved. Last December, the tipping point, total acceleration: “This is easily better than I could have written.”
Dozens of projects at the same time are now a reality for me and not a stress.
Projects are starting to monetize because for the first time in my career I can focus on the product instead of the code.
