The poster shows a text conversation reading: "I tend to hear..." "Where were you? How were you dressed?" "For trans people...it's...more invasive...they say" "Well, what were you doing with this person? Did they know you were trans?" "I've had experiences where...doctors have said," ""Well, did this person feel threatened? Did this person feel tricked? Did this person feel lied to?" Negative stereotypes about trans people can compound the trauma of sexual assault when seeking care. Myths about survivors are profoundly harmful and have no place in the response to sexual assault.
