A feature that has proven its value for decades... DNS Abuse in European ccTLDs is a fraction of industry average.
Replying to @CENTR_Polina
4/6 The Study disregards the fundamental differences between ccTLDs & gTLDs and recommends “one-size-fits-all” abuse mitigation measures, despite finding that ccTLDs are by far less abused. Diversity in ccTLD practices is not a bug, but a feature to keep abuse levels low.

Inclusion of data accuracy obligations in NIS2 holds the false promise of increased security. And it breaks down the principle of data minimisation.
Replying to @CENTR_Polina
5/6 WHOIS accuracy is not a silver bullet for security, stability and resilience of #DNS While it has some indirect benefits for cybersecurity, there is no evidence why such strenuous data verification obligations need to be put on European ccTLDs
